Develop A Dream is a non-profit organization launched to develop careers for children in the underserved communities located in Gainesville, Florida.
HOME OF THE FLORIDA GATORS!!!
Develop A Dream provides programs and services to tackle the social issues that currently plague our nation. Issues such as:
- the disparity between lower economic students and higher economic students
- unemployment rate in lower economic communities
- struggling youth in the juvenile justice system
- health risk of lower economic communities
DAD does this by providing Academic Coaching, Mentoring Services, Career & Academic Planning, Health & Nutrition Coaching, and by consulting and directing people to various community resources.
